BATMAN VIDEO - BatDave's BIG BATCOPTER Adventure

Here's a very well put together video of our Buddy BatDave having the full "Original 1967 BATMAN MOVIE BAT-COPTER Experience" at the NJ State Fair. Oh yeah, every year Helicopter Pilot, Captain Gene Nock makes a few appearances at various locations with his Famous Bat-Copter. This video was shot to sort of share what it's like. Now, I rode a Bell Helicopter like this once ( but NOT the Bat-Copter ) at my local Oklahoma State Fair and I can say that it's pretty amazing! That huge clear plastic bubble gives you an incredible view and the one I rode had a clear-glass floor! It's the closest way you can experience true flight except for maybe hang gliding or parachuting, ha!

Stu's New Jersey COMIC EXPO Batman Adventure!

The Bat-Blog has a Friend who lives in New Jersey named Stu & he recently wrote us a very nice letter and also sent some amazing photos. He went to the previous NJ COMIC EXPO that had the Original 1966 BAT-COPTER & some amazing Batmobile Replica Cars. He also got to meet some Celebrities from the Classic Batman TV Show & get some autographs. Yes, he had a very fun time! Here's some pics he took & they're really great. In fact, the 1st one of the 1966 Batmobile Car, I made into a WALLPAPER BACKGROUND you can use to brighten your desktop!

The next photo is a great shot of the Batcopter inside the building. This must have been really cool to walk right up to. Stu took some extra pics of this vehicle that I plan on making into another Bat-Wallpaper for another day. So, stay tuned for that! Also, the last pic is sort of not related to the event but a more personal photo. This is Stu's Son, MAX, and Max wanted to show-off his brand-new LEGO BATMAN PAJAMAS! Hey Max, thanks for sharing! I love the Batman and Joker image on this shirt, it's very very cool! If they were not so small, then I would wear them, ha ha!

The Fire Department in Roselle, NJ are True Batman-Inspired Heroes!

Over the next few days we have a few more photos to share from the NJ COMIC EXPO event where, this year, they celebrated the 1966 Batman TV Show and Movie. Shown here is a new Friend to the Bat-Blog. His name is Jeff & he's a HUGE Batman Fan! In fact, he got to meet Lee Merriwether ( 60's Movie Catwoman ) and stand next to the Original 1966 Batcopter! He's also a local Fireman in the town of Roselle, New Jersey. Check out this special T-Shirt he had made for his Fire Department Members. They all love Batman too, I guess, because they have adopted the '66 Bat-Logo as their symbol! They are the 4th Battalion and that's why the logo parody says, "Batt-4"... AWESOME!!

NJ COMIC EXPO - BATVENTION PHOTOS - 1966 Batman TV Show and Movie Reunion

A few days ago the Bat-Blog.Com told you about the NJ COMIC EXPO "2011 Batvention Event" in Teaneck, NJ that happened last weekend. Well, Ace Bat-Repoter BatDave was there & got some amazing photos to share! The event was a Celebration of the 1966 BATMAN TV Show! Well, I should also say "the BATMAN Movie" too because the Guest of Honor was none other than CATWOMAN herself, Lee Merriwether!

Like we reported, many other Actresses from the 60's TV Show were there. They appear in the photos up above & it looks like they all had a great time. Batdave's friends, The Gotham City Supercars Club, were there with their incredible Batmobile Replica Cars. A guy named Batrodz even showed up with a wonderful 1966 Batcycle Replica Motorcycle ( Check out his Custom Batman Helmet! ). Captain Gene Nock was there with his Original 1966 Batcopter. That was very special because Lee Merriwether and that Original Bat-Vehicle both appeared in the 1960's BATMAN Film.

There were also a ton of wonderful Cosplay People all showing off their fun costumes. Whew! It looks like it was a totally great event, I wish I could have been there! Oh yeah, a special "Thank You" goes out to BatDave for getting all these awesome pics together. If anyone else went to this event and wants to share some pics then please let us know.
