According to our Bat-Blog History Files today is a very special day! Christian Charles Philip Bale was born on January 30th, 1974. He was raised in England & had his 1st film role at the age of 13. He was in Steven Spielberg's 1987 movie, Empire of The Sun. He played a lost English Boy who, separated from his Parents, grew-up in a Japanese Internment Camp during World War II. Later, he had one of his 1st most iconic roles playing the Serial Killer Patrick Bateman in the 2000 movie, American Psycho! Then, of course, starting with Christopher Nolan's 2005 BATMAN BEGINS, he has been the most recent Actor to play Bruce Wayne/Batman. We all look forward to seeing him in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES! Happy Birthday Christian Bale!! Oh yeah, I've posted a few "Dreamy Hunk" Wallpapers... for the Ladies to drool over!
OK, I have not gone to the book store yet to totally confirm it but the latest issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY Magazine with THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Cover Story is suppose to be out today. If not, then look for it very soon. The cover has an excellent photo of the new bat-suit worn by Christian Bale. There are also a few pics inside that are great. The ones I've seen mainly feature Batman, Bane, and Jim Gordon, with NO Catwoman.
OK, I wish I would have come up with this idea. There are a ton of websites that present brand-new movie trailers but there is only one that has taken a very unique spin on it. They're called TRAILER CATS! They take regular trailers and spice them up a little bit, ha! Here's one for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie. The only thing that confuses me is why they made CATWOMAN ( Anne Hathaway ) a Dog?! But it's pretty funny, check it out!
If you're a brand-new reader to the World of BAT-BLOG then we gotta warn you that we're totally crazy koo-koo for posting Original BATMAN Wallpapers every now & then, ha! In fact, we post some every "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" and then also at random, ha! A couple of years ago, during the hype of THE DARK KNIGHT Movie, we met this awesome Graphic Artist named "Messenjah Matt" and have always been impressed with the Batman Movie Backgrounds that he creates. He draws images using Adobe Photoshop techniques that are extremely detailed and made-up of tiny little slivers of color. They're totally beautiful and must take hours to make, ha! I mean, they're almost like looking at actual photographs and the overall effect is well worth it. They're very cool.Well, now he's starting to crank out some for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Film. We're sharing a few examples here of Batman, Bane, and Catwoman. Actually, that first one of the Bat-Logo is a combination of the logos for all three movies combined, pretty cool huh?! EMPIRE Magazine, the other day, revealed what the special dual covers of their exclusive coverage of "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" movie will look like! One has Actor Christian Bale as BATMAN and the other, Tom Hardy as BANE! They will also feature exclusive interviews with Director Christopher Nolan and others. Plus, the publication will have many EXCLUSIVE 1st PHOTOS. The contents inside both magazines are the same, just different covers. Yes, they're making Collectors buy two of the same issue, ha! But that's fun and I gotta say that between the two my favorite is Batman. Which one will you get? Or, will you get them both?
