Hot Off the Press!

Here's the new shirt. It's metallic silver on black. We (right now) are doing black men's shirts, sizes S, M, L, and maybe XL.
And for women's shirts, we have black shirts, pink shirts, and black shirts with pink stitching. We also have pink tank tops.
Yeah, the girls win for sure.
We'll have a Cartfly store up pronto, on my personal Myspace, the shop's Myspace, my website, and here on the blog. Don't know what Cartfly is? Go check it out, it's pretty amazing.
But anyway, back to the shirts. If you want a shirt before I get the store up and running, Email me and we'll get it figured out.
Todd's shirt design is on the way.

Pixie at Identity Tattoo

So Pixie, of LA INK fame, came out to our shop, (Identity Tattoo) to visit and catch up with her old friend (my boss) Todd, since they used to work together at some other shop in Minnesota years ago. I've never seen LA INK, since I don't have cable TV and think reality shows are creepy, and I have avoided most of the hurrah around the tattoo shows. But I was excited to meet Pixie based on the stories Todd tells of the old shop, and she didn't disappoint. A super rad human being, with tons of positive energy. She signed an autograph for Todd's customer, received a marriage proposal from mine, and rocked a TYRANT shirt so I could snap some pictures. A shame I didn't have my new shirt done yet!

Identity Tattoo Shirt.

We set up the screen printing sweatshop in Identity Tattoo, and will soon be pumping out these new shirts I designed. Todd has an image in the works as well, and in no time at all you'll be able to wear a different Identity Tattoo shirt every day of the week.
We have boxes full of black and dark grey shirts, sweatshirts and girls tank tops, and we'll be quick to get them into your hands.

More TYRANT and cover ups.

So, TYRANT changed his web address to RIDETYRANT.com, and is designing a brand new site. To kick it off, he had me design him a new shirt. His idea and request, my drawing, his text.
He'll be screening them up this week, and they'll be ready for sale on his MYSPACE page. Hopefully, when his new site is up, you'll be able to buy stuff from there as well.

Also, here's a cover up that got a little out of hand. My friend Ann had a little dolphin from a few years ago that she was no longer interested in, and asked me to make it go away. I decided that we could do it without even using black ink, and somehow the design went over her side, and up most of her back. So here's a back shot, as well as a close up of the dolphin area.

Revolutionary Pin Up

I did this tattoo today, and was really happy with it, but the photo's aren't amazing. I'll be getting healed one's soon.
It took a little over 2 hours total, and was tucked right alongside another one I did just recently.

The image for the new Identity Tattoo shirt is done, and now is in TYRANT's hands for some magical font work. [Note the new domain for TYRANT]
Soon, it'll be burned to a screen, and printed on shirts for you in the Identity Sweatshop (conveniently located at Identity Tattoo).
I promise, when the shirts are ready, you'll hear about it.

Chef skulls on iwantyourskull.com

Everyone's favorite skull destination, I Want Your Skull, just put up a post about yours truly, and the two chef skulls I did on the Peterson brothers. Rad! Check it out
Also, issue 4 of the Iwantyourskull zine is being printed right now, and will be available for purchase soon. Kevin McNutt (of Identity Tattoo) and I contributed to the last one, and this issue will have pieces from Lucky (Identity's bossman) and myself.
More info soon!

Tidying up a bit.

So I just spent an hour fighting with the program I use to update www.shawnhebrank.com, and put my latest 8 photos up there. I also got them printed, and have revamped the actual book portfolio I keep at Identity Tattoo. Things are going well. I have a bunch of projects (as always) that I'm excited about, and some drawings for tattoos that I look forward to doing. At the shop, we're ready to start rocking out on the printing of shirts and art projects.
I guess I never announced that the boar head stickers came in a little while ago. But they did, and if you want any, let me know. Also, I ordered new ones, and stayed with my old friend the shark, although he looking worse than ever.

More CT folk in MPLS

Tim and Rob traveled all the way to MPLS from Connecticut just to get tattooed. (It certainly wasn't for the kale we tried to feed them for dinner!)
Both of them got under arm tattoos which are not only painful, but a real difficulty to get proper pictures of. Maybe a better photo of the rose grenade tomorrow.
Thanks for visiting!
