Best African American tattoo designs
Best African American tattoo designs are a challenge to a person, the choice of ink and the artist who would use it. With darker skin tones, there are questions about the use of the design complexity of colors, healing and scarring. Although it is impossible to tattoo skin tones darker than it requires skill and experience to create a quality piece.
Design complexity is difficult to dark skin, because the colors are very difficult to see against your skin tone. African tribal tattoo designs are perfect for solving this problem. These are typically in solid dark colors and can be made "pop" as well as any design on a multi-skilled artist.
Use the appropriate color is essential for quality work. With the colors of skin for many, it is best to talk to your artist, whose colors will be clearly visible and it will not. Shading, which is an important part of the application of tattoos, it becomes more difficult with African-American tattoo designs. You can use some bright colors, but remember that the lighter color used, it may even be less detectable.
Nightshades at Night
Kendra gets the special sister treatment, of course,
so I stayed late to do this eggplant tattoo on her.
We only started it after we closed,
and didn't get home till 2 am.
She sat so well, and didn't mind me singing,
and the time just went by.

Minnesota gets crazier storms/clouds/weather than any where I've ever lived.
Last night when I was leaving the shop,
the clouds were moving faster than I'd ever seen.
There's been tornadoes/severe thunderstorms every week this summer,
and we've had a lot of east coasters in town getting their first taste
of how violent the hot months in MN are.
All I had on me was my cell phone camera,
but it still picks up some of the intensity pretty well.
This was at 8pm.
Then came the rains,
and some sky-crossing lightning.
But it cooled things down (slightly),
and the rest of the week isn't going to get above 85º.
(and I can't believe it's almost August)

Girl With Sexy Rose Tattoo
There's something classic about rose tattoos. The rose is a longtime favorite of bikers and bad girls, but there's an innocence about the rose that appeals to good girls and nice guys, too.
Fossil evidence tells us that the rose has been around for about 35 million years. Gardeners have cultivated them for perhaps five millennia. In the Middle East during the Roman period, roses were used as confetti at celebrations, as a source of fragrance, and for medicinal purposes. Wreaths of roses have been found in ancient Egyptian tombs. Roses became popular in Europe in the 18th century. Napoleon's wife, Josephine, maintained magnificent rose gardens near Paris.
Among the ancient Greeks, roses symbolized secrecy. Wearing a rose during a religious ceremony implied that the wearer would keep the religion's secrets sacred. Ancient Greco-Roman culture also saw the rose as a symbol of beauty, of springtime, and of love. And they saw in it a reminder of how fleeting life can be. In Rome, "rosalia" was an annual feast honoring the dead.
More recently, in the Christian faith, the rose has stood for martyrdom, even at times representing Christ himself. A thornless rose has been associated with the Virgin Mary. And the rose is part of the elaborate symbolism of the Knights Templar, an ancient Christian society surrounded in secrecy and legend. Some people consider the rose to be an emblem of heresy.

No Vacancy.
This hammerhead shark went on Matt today.
He also has the fat fish and the homicidal penguin tattoos,
and we have another planned for the MPLS Tattoo Convention in October.
He's really the nicest dude,
but his parents are even nicer.
He got a flat tire driving to Identity Tattoo,
and they came and changed it while he was getting tattooed!
And he even told them not to!
I don't even get it,
that's almost too much good karma for one family.
Speaking of family, the Louderhorn Inn is packed to the rafters.
Meryl's mom has been promoted from guest to Resident Manager,
and her sister Kendra is just beginning her stay with us.
Everyone has a key, a bike, and a map of the city.
And before the end of the week,
Randall comes and joins us all.
We're certainly not messing around this month.
And it doesn't look too much different for August.
I hope you're not planning on visiting this summer,
but if you do, bring a tent.
