OK, These photos are total torture for me! I mean, I already know I will not be able to afford to buy this brand-new HOT TOYS '89 BATMOBILE Toy and I'm already crying myself to sleep over it, ha! This is the HUGE vehicle being made for the large "Michael Keaton BATMAN" Hot Toys Figure. It has Rubber Tires with Detailed Tread, a Cockpit that slides open, an Instrument Panel inside that's very detailed, Machine Gun Turrets that pop-out of the hood, a Special Base to display it on, etc... it even comes with a "Cocoon Shield" to cover it. OK, I'm just gonna cry for about an hour or two. I know you are so much braver than I am so please be sure to check out all the wonderful photos.

VIDEO - CUSTOM BATMOBILE - Thomas' 2010 Dodge Challenger

Awhile back, here at the Bat-Blog.Com, I posted a photo of this amazing Bat-Car that was customized to look like a Batmobile. Well, it doesn't have huge fins or anything, ha! But the paint job colors and other accessories are totally inspired by George Barris' 1966 TV Show Car. It's a completely beautiful 2010 Dodge Challenger! Then, like a total Moron, I said it was a Mustang, ha!

Hey, sometimes BAT-BLOG GUY doesn't get much sleep or hasn't had his coffee yet, ha!

But anyways, the car is owned by a guy named Thomas and he was nice enough to send us this very cool video. In it, he explains a lot about where he got some of the special car parts or who did the work. You get to see a lot of details, which are nice. So, check it out and enjoy! ( Thanks Thomas for sharing this, it's great! And, I get to borrow the ride someday, right?)

More THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Filming in Newark, New Jersey

The other day we posted some photos here at the BAT-BLOG.COM from our friend & Ace Bat-Reporter BATDAVE. He traveled to where THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie was filming in Newark, New Jersey & got some fun pics. Well, Batdave had to leave early but his friend Don stayed behind and he got even more pictures for us ( Thanks Don!! ).

The first one is a very pretty girl expressing her political support for the movie by holding up an "Occupy Gotham City" sign!

Next up is an actual photo of Don. He spotted one of the many "Gotham City Police Department" Movie Prop Vehicles that were up & down the street. I like the expression on his face. To me it says, "Yeah, I'm gonna come back later tonight & STEAL this thing!" ( Ha! Just kiddin' Don! But you know you were thinking that for a few seconds, ha! ) Then we get a great view of one of the GCPD Utility Trucks.

You might remember our previous post where we shared "Fake Signs" that were all over the street making it look like a real Gotham City. Well, here is a Transit Sign of Gotham's Subway System. Wow! What detail!!

CUSTOM BATMAN CAR - Fantasy BATMOBILE Replica in Thailand!

This is a quick post to share some really fun photos from our Good Friend BAT-CAT. He lives in Thailand & it seems he is always going to some BATMAN Toy Exhibit somewhere. Yeah, I'm jealous, ha! Here is an event at a Thailand Shopping Mall. It was called, "THE PARADE OF COLLECTIVE ITEMS FROM THE MOVIES". There, they had this amazing BATMOBILE Fantasy Replica Car. OK, I call it a "Fantasy Car" because it's not an actual replica of a "real Batmobile", but one that the Custom Car Designer dreamed-up. Check out the photos, especially the shot of the interior. This car is very detailed and looks like a lot of fun! ( Thanks for the great pics Bat-Cat! )

Our Buddies over at the GOTHAM CITY SUPERCAR CLUB in New Jersey recently sent us this beautiful photo showing a few of their 1966 Batmobile Replica cars that they were getting ready to go out as party rentals. Actually, I think they sent the pic to completely torture me. I don't have ONE of these, but they have TWO! ( Ha Ha! Just Kiddin' ) Actually they have more than these. They also have a Tumbler Batmobile, like the kind in the newer Batman Movies, and I'll be posting photos of that car later. But for right now, please enjoy this FREE BATMAN WALLPAPER you can use as a background on your PC desktop!!

BATMAN WALLPAPER - 1966 Batmobile Car Spotted Near Ground Zero, NYC

Check out this extremely cool photo sent in by our good friend BatDave. He said he has a buddy named Lou who was sitting in traffic in lower Manhattan only a couple of days ago when, all of a sudden, he looks over to his right and sees an original 1966 Batmobile Car being hauled right past the World Trade Center 9/11 Freedom Tower construction site! Amazing!! This picture is so cool that I thought it deserved to be a BATMAN Desktop Wallpaper, ha! ( Thanks to both Lou & BatDave for sharing this fun event )

Fun Batman Photo - Barbara Eden and the 1966 Batmobile!

Barbara Eden has been pretty busy lately promoting her brand-new Auto-Biography Book titled "Jeannie Out of the Bottle". Here she is at a recent Comic Book Convention having a photo op with the 1966 Batmobile. I mean, how cool is that?! A 1960's TV ICON sitting inside a Classic 60's TV Show Car!! Now, I gotta say that I have not read her new book yet, but the reviews are starting to come in & they're all saying it's a pretty good read. Here's a photo of the cover. Please be sure to check it out on your next trip to the bookstores.

New BATMAN TOYS - DC Super Friends MR. FREEZE CAR Variations

Here's a quick post to share some news about a brand-new Batman Toy & it comes in 2 variations. Bat-Reporter, Batmobilly, spotted this new DC SUPER FRIENDS Fisher Price SHAKE N' GO MR FREEZE CAR ( made by Mattel ) at a Target Store & then later noticed it comes in 2 different colors. Now, I'm not one of those obsessed "Completest Collectors" who buys every variation of everything but I thought this news would be worthy as far as picking out a favorite color ( I like the lighter colored car better ). Thanks Batmobilly!

Video - Batmobile Replica Car From 1995 BATMAN FOREVER Movie

Now, while the BATMAN FOREVER Movie from 1995 has not been a favorite bat-film of mine I have always thought that the Batmobile from that movie was OK. This video shows a Replica Car somebody made and no matter what you think about the real car this replica is extremely well done. I especially like the interior work with all the gauges, buttons, & knobs. The outside is nice too, very well done!

BATMOBILE REPLICA CARS & GOLDEN AGE BATWOMAN - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

If you read the Bat-Blog yesterday then you know we did a post about the "Michael Uslan Batman Book Signing" that happened in New Jersey last weekend. Well, for the event, they had a few Batmobile Replica Cars on display that were supplied by Gotham City Supercars. That's the 1st BATMAN WALLPAPER presented here. The photo features a very nice 1966 Batmobile & the cool car from the 1989 Movie. I would have tried to steal them BOTH, ha!

Then, the 2nd wallpaper background shares an image of BATWOMAN from the Golden Age. It's a convention drawing by Sheldon Moldoff. You see, I recently got an email from a Bat-Blog Fan asking to see a "Batwoman Background" showing her as she appeared in the TV Cartoon, "Batman: The Brave and The Bold". Yes, she made an appearance. Well, I did have some nice graphics of her but they're on my old computer that I can't access. Then, I searched Google forever trying to find these pics & could never find anything decent. Then, I asked the Warner Bros PR Dept to please send me some pics but that's taking forever. So I finally settled on these. Sorry Dude, I'll have those images for you when I can get them. In the mean time please enjoy this one.
