Yesterday we reported about the new HOT WHEELS DC Comics 4-Pack and a Bat-Blog Fan was really cool to let us know that on the Wal-Mart Website they have these toys at a "Rollback Price"for a very very short time, and they're 1/2 price. Yeah, you can get this set for $10.00. Please keep in mind that this special price is for online sales ONLY. Here's a link, CLICK HERE!
OK, Mattel keeps cranking out all these cool Batman products I can't afford to keep up with, ha! But, here's something pretty cool that I might have to go without food for! Here's a specially Boxed 4-Pack of some brand-new 2011 HOT WHEELS DC COMICS ORIGINALS NOSTALGIA SERIES Diecast Cars. Inside the cool window box are custom rides for Robin, The Penguin, Catwoman, and Batman! The designs are pretty cool, click on the photo above for more detail. Now, I don't really have any more info on these right now. Like, are they in stores now? But they're popping-up on evil eBay so I guess so. No idea on price either, but I'm guessing the retail price is probably around the $25 range. We featured some of the earlier ones here on the BAT-BLOG.COM and if you'd like to see those then just CLICK HERE!
For this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" I thought I would post some BATMAN WALLPAPERS that kind of celebrate a few brand-new BATMAN PRODUCTS out there that are fun! The 1st one is a nice photo of the 2011 BATMAN ARKHAM ASYLUM Batmobile Hot Wheels Car made by Mattel. I got one of these recently, it's a cool toy!
Now, I know the 2nd one is kinda crazy but I really love these Batman Shoes! Our friend Andy, who lives in the UK, told us about these special Converse Sneakers ( Kid's Size Only, yeah bummer! ) that are sold in England. They have awesome "Batmobile" graphics on them!
The last Background is a nice hi-res shot of the next NEW 2012 LEGO BATMAN BATCAVE, which is not out yet, but is featured here because it's so AWESOME!
OK, I know these are strange backgrounds but they are fun, please give one a try. Also, be sure to check the Bat-Blog Archives on the left-hand side of this page, near the middle, to see many more. Plus, for all the recent ones we have posted you can be lazy & just click the button down below, ha ha!
IN STORES NOW! OK, on your next trip to Wal-Mart or Target be sure to keep an eye out for these brand-new 2011 HOT WHEELS DC COMICS ORIGINALS NOSTALGIA SERIES By Mattel! This wave contains eight ( 8 ) Superhero / Super-Villain Die-Cast Cars to collect: Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Lex Luthor & even Bizzaro! Yes! When was the last time you ever saw some Bizzaro merchandise, ha ha! The cars are pretty cool but what I love the most is the use of the retro-style graphics, very 1980's! Thanks goes out to our awesome Bat-Reporter BATMOBILLY for letting us know about these, they're great!
Check this out! here's some photos sent in by our friend Christopher. He recently went on the retail store toy hunt & came across these 2 cool Batman items ( Thanks Chris! )
The 1st pic shows a new variation on the new 2011 HOTWHEELS "MONSTAR JAM BATMOBILE" 2-Car Set by Mattel. The picture on the left is the one from last year and the one on the right shows the new packaging. Plus, it looks like the "1989 Diecast Batmobile" is slightly different.
Next up is a fan favorite. Here's a Fisher Price TRIO DC SUPER FRIENDS Action Figure 2-Pack Set with Clayface & Batman ( Who is "covered with mud", ha ha! ). I totally love these bat-toys!
