This post is a shout-out to a Friend of ours who has been doing an excellent job on a new Batman Toy Collector Blog called "Batman Extreme"! Now, he's a Major Batman Fan and he shares a bunch of cool stuff! At the end of this post I'll share a LINK to it but I gotta warn ya, his site is mostly done in Japanese! But wait, there is plenty of eye-candy to enjoy plus, he does some posts in English. Also, it's really not that hard to figure out how to navigate the site.
One tip, at the bottom of all his posts there is a "Pagination Area" where you click the numbers "2, 3, 4, etc..." Just click those and you can enjoy the whole site. There is some neat stuff like Tin Toys ( Robots and Batmobile cars ). Plus, a lot of new merchandise. It looks like he might focus on "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" Movie Action Figures a little bit too. Just recently, here at the BAT-BLOG.COM, we have got emails from Brazil, Germany, England, and the Netherlands! Oh man, I totally love the Internet! It's so cool to connect with other Serious Batman Fans from around the world. Like the content of this post, here are some wonderful photos of a very cool BATMAN TOYS AND MEMORABILIA Collection from México City!
All this great stuff belongs to our Friend, Diego. He's been collecting since around the age of 8 ( He's now 22 ) and his favorite items in his collection are some neat Plush Toys. He said that he won them at the Six Flags Theme Park in Mexico. I have to admit that my favorite item, if I had to pick one, in all these pics is that HUGE GIANT-SIZE ACE, THE BAT-HOUND!! That thing is cool! But really everything here is great! Diego has a very nice collection of Action Figures, Statues, T-Shirts, Batmobiles, Graphic Novels, Comic Books, etc... I think it's really neat to see other people's collections. I wanna thank Diego for taking the time to shoot these fun pics, I really appreciate that, "Muchas Gracias Diego!!"
The BAT-CAT MUSEUM AND TOYS of THAILAND is set to open in about 8 days from now! Yes, the building is finally finished and all the displays are being placed. I think they're probably working around the clock on it, ha! Shown here are some behind the scene photos showing some of the special features. There are some incredible wall murals outside. Inside, they have specially designed Lighting, Display Cases, Wall Graphics, and even a Bar! Yes, there will be a Restaurant inside called, "The BatBARang Cafe", WOW! I can't wait to see this cool Toy Museum once it's done, it's going to be amazing!! Stay tuned to the BAT-BLOG and we will be doing more reports on this once it's opened. Yes, they're EXTREME! OK, You know that they will probably have to make a Catwoman figure too! SONIC Restaurants just announced on their website that their next "Wacky Pack Kids' Meal" will be DC Comics' JUSTICE LEAGUE TOTS! Yes, These are small Plush Toys in the shape of our favorite food, Tater Tots! They will also come with Card Trading Packs. There will be 10 Toys to collect: Superman, Clark Kent, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Supergirl, Bizarro, Plastic Man, and...WAIT! THERE'S NO BATMAN!?!!
OK, Like the ultra cool 1989 BATMAN Movie Figures ( Michael Keaton and Jack "Joker" Nicholson ) and '89 Batmobile are not torture enough, late last night HOT TOYS announced their next wave of Batman-related merchandise, BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY! Yes, they will be making figures inspired by the awesome Video Game! Knowing this company the attention to detail will be insane. Plus, the toys will be extremely cool!! Here's a photo from the recent 2012 NYC TOY FAIR showing the booth for a Toy Company named "Jakks Pacific". They're mainly known for their line of Cabbage Patch Dolls & Pokemon Toys. But shown here are some brand-new DC UNIVERSE Plush Dolls they're gonna make in 2012. There will be some regular-sized ones and then, the shocking thing, is that it looks like there will be some that are HUGE! I mean, GIANT-SIZE!!
