SONIC Restaurants just announced on their website that their next "Wacky Pack Kids' Meal" will be DC Comics' JUSTICE LEAGUE TOTS! Yes, These are small Plush Toys in the shape of our favorite food, Tater Tots! They will also come with Card Trading Packs. There will be 10 Toys to collect: Superman, Clark Kent, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, The Flash, Hawkgirl, Aquaman, Supergirl, Bizarro, Plastic Man, and...WAIT! THERE'S NO BATMAN!?!!

Next month, Warner Bros Video and MTV Geek are teaming-up to present the Movie Premiere of the next DC Entertainment Original Animated Film, JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM! It will be at the Paley Center For Media in New York City on February 13th, 2012 at 6:30. Most of the Voice Actors and Production Team will be there to sign autographs. Yes, come meet Batman, Kevin Conroy! The actual DVD will be released on February 28th. The tickets for this Premiere Event are FREE, but the loophole is you have to be a Member of the Paley Center and, of course, tickets are limited. For more info on that, click the link down below:
DC Entertainment and Warner Brothers have created a Campaign to help fight the hunger crisis in the Horn of Africa. It's called "WE CAN BE HEROES" and it will use the JUSTICE LEAGUE characters as a vehicle (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg).
WE CAN BE HEROES will support the efforts of three humanitarian aid organizations working in Africa: Save the Children, International Rescue Committee and Mercy Corps.
The region is suffering its worst drought and famine in over 60 years, with 13 million in need of critical assistance and 250,000 facing starvation in Somalia alone. Basically, if I got the information right, DC Entertainment will match each dollar donated until two million dollars has been distributed over the next two years. One way they will be raising funds is through the sale of special merchandise. This includes a WE CAN BE HEROES T-Shirt ( shown up above ), an iPhone Cover, Water Bottle, and Ceramic Coffee Mug. Around early May of this year, 2012, be sure to look for the "NEW 52 - JUSTICE LEAGUE BATMAN" DC Direct Action Figure to hit the stores! This is the first figure in an ongoing line based on Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s best-selling JUSTICE LEAGUE Comic Books. It will measure approx 6 3/4" tall and will also be specially packaged. The exact Release Date is May 2nd.
OK, Now, How Cool is This?! Recently, a Bat-Blog Fan named Jeffery got married and for the special occasion he made a BATMAN and WONDER WOMAN Wedding Cake Topper! This week, since there's not been much new hype about it, I thought I'd post some FREE BATMAN WALLPAPERS to celebrate the anticipation of the JUSTICE LEAGUE DOOM DC Universe Animated Film coming out later. This movie looks like it's gonna be cool! Of course the Dark Knight's main Villain in this will be BANE!!

Well, we finally got a photo of the JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM DVD Cover Art & here it is! The cool thing is that "Batman" is the main featured character ( He deserves it, because he's the coolest, ha! ). This movie is an adaptation of Mark Waid’s "Tower of Babel" story-arc that was seen in older comic book issues of Justice League of America.
The basic story is Batman has been keeping secrets about how to destroy each JLA member just in case one ever goes rogue! The information is stored on his Bat-Computer in the Batcave. Batman feels pretty secure about nobody being able to get this data but R'as Al Ghul steals it & then the real crisis really gets going!
The list of Voice Actors includes Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rosenbaum, and Susan Eisenberg, among others. Look for it to hit retail stores around early 2012.
Here's a new "Batman Product" you might keep an eye out for on your next shopping trip to the Grocery Store. General Mills Cereals is running a promo with DC Comics to promote the JUSTICE LEAGUE characters. They have a neat Cereal Box with some small "DC Comics" graphics on the front, but the cool thing is that one of the boxes has a large cut-out mask of Batman on the back! Also, FREE INSIDE, is a really great mini-size comic book. It's actually very decent quality measuring about 5" X 7" with 12 pages. The grade of the paper & color printing is really nice. I was sort of impressed with it as a cereal premium. There are 4 books to collect. I got Issue #2, shown here.
DC Direct just announced some brand new BATMAN & JOKER Action Figures you might wanna get later. they're a part of the JUSTICE LEAGUE: HEROES & FOES ( SERIES 1 ). There will also be figures of Wonder Woman & The Flash ( not pictured here ). But, shown here, are the ones of Batman & the Prince of Crime, The Joker! All four figures feature multiple points of articulation and include display bases. Also, Character-appropriate accessories are also included. Batman measures approximately 6 3/4" high. Look for them to go on Sale around April 11th, 2012.
