Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment are teaming up to present DC Nation, a full hour of exclusive kids' television programming and shorts based on DC Comics characters. Full of action and humor, DC Nation brings some of the most beloved and legendary heroes — as well as some lesser-known cult favorites — from the pages of DC Comics to the screens of a whole new generation of fans. Anchored by Green Lantern: The Animated Series and Young Justice, DC Nation will premiere Saturday, March 3, at 10 a.m. (ET, PT).
Rounding out this branded block of original programming will be a number of shorts featuring DC Comics super heroes and characters as you have never seen them before. With fresh designs and concepts, fan favorites such as Plastic Man and Doom Patrol will finally take center stage next to the likes of Wonder Woman and Teen Titans. Bringing them to life will be the result of a collaboration with some of the top talents in the animation industry, which include award-winning Aardman Studios (Arthur Christmas, Wallace and Gromit) with its stop-motion clay animation techniques, and the unique direction and character designs of Lauren Faust (The Powerpuff Girls, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic). In addition to these shorts, DC Nation will also feature event programming, interstitials, exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at theatrical motion pictures and an insider look into the world of all things DC Comics.
OK, last year somebody extremely creative made a fun animated video titled "BATMAN EATS A HOT DOG" that was just kind of weird and surreal, it's actually funny! The clip went viral and has got over a million hits! So now, it has spawned many parodies. The latest one is, "HOT DOG EATS BATMAN"... Enjoy the madness!

I've been meaning to post this for a few days. Here's a brand-new DC NATION Promo for the Cartoon Network. It's some really cool Stop-Motion Claymation that was created by Aardman Animations Studio. Yes, the Creative Team that does "Wallace and Gromit", among others. This video features a ton of DC Comics characters such as: Superman, Batman and Robin, Catwoman and The Joker! Enjoy.
Next month, Warner Bros Video and MTV Geek are teaming-up to present the Movie Premiere of the next DC Entertainment Original Animated Film, JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM! It will be at the Paley Center For Media in New York City on February 13th, 2012 at 6:30. Most of the Voice Actors and Production Team will be there to sign autographs. Yes, come meet Batman, Kevin Conroy! The actual DVD will be released on February 28th. The BAT-BLOG.COM has some sort of bad news to report. Tonight ( Friday, November 18th, 2011 ) is the very VERY last episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD. It's titled, "MITEFALL!" and will star Bat-Mite! On a personal level I really loved this show for it's Humor, Animation Quality, Art Direction, Vehicle Design, and most of all... bringing back a TON of great Superheros and Villains from the Silver-Age History of DC Comics. Man, they found some extremely obscure characters sometimes, ha! It will also be kind of sad watching the last episode tonight. But, this highly-rated TV show did have a great 3 year run! So as always, I guess, all good things come to an end. On a happy side-note: There is news of a brand-new CGI Animation "BEWARE THE BATMAN" to become a part of Cartoon Network's new DC NATION line-up. YEA! we all have that to look forward to!!

A new block of DC Entertainment programming will be featured on CARTOON NETWORK next year. It starts in early 2012 and will be called THE DC NATION! Right now the 2 main TV Shows they're hyping are YOUNG JUSTICE & the brand-new Animated Series, GREEN LANTERN ( Both are pretty decent ). They will also feature "Animated Shorts" as bumpers between the show.
This Friday, November 18th, the final episode of BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD will air. But don't cry Batman Fans, it's been announced that there will be a brand-new CGI Batman series. For now, it's being called "BEWARE THE BATMAN". Once more information is available you know the BAT-BLOG.COM will be all over that, stay tuned!!
Well, we finally got a photo of the JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM DVD Cover Art & here it is! The cool thing is that "Batman" is the main featured character ( He deserves it, because he's the coolest, ha! ). This movie is an adaptation of Mark Waid’s "Tower of Babel" story-arc that was seen in older comic book issues of Justice League of America.
The basic story is Batman has been keeping secrets about how to destroy each JLA member just in case one ever goes rogue! The information is stored on his Bat-Computer in the Batcave. Batman feels pretty secure about nobody being able to get this data but R'as Al Ghul steals it & then the real crisis really gets going!
The list of Voice Actors includes Tim Daly, Kevin Conroy, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rosenbaum, and Susan Eisenberg, among others. Look for it to hit retail stores around early 2012.

Well, it looks like Warner Bros finally released a couple of brand-new promo video trailers for the BATMAN: YEAR ONE Animated Movie DVD that's set to come out on October 18th ( which is next Tuesday! ). The 1st one features CATWOMAN in a scene from the special "Feature Short" that is an added feature of the DVD. Then, we get to see a scene from the actual movie that showcases Jim Gordon & it's called, "Car Chase". Enjoy!
