At a recent Trade Show the HEROCLIX GAME Toy Company just announced that they will be coming out with a special Set of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Heroclix Game Figures. There will be "Over 30 to Collect". Well, actually, all the figures will be inspired from all 3 Nolan Movies: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, AND The Dark Knight Rises. Here are some prototype photos we got. Please excuse the quality but they do give you a great idea what to expect, they look kinda cool! I really like the one of Jim Gordon next to the Bat-Signal.
Check out this awesome graphic art sent in by our buddy, Artist Sean Hartter. It's made from photos of characters from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman movie and they have been photo-manipulated to look like old vintage newsprint. Then, the DKR Bat-Logo has Japanese lettering. Sean said he has a friend who speaks perfect Japanese translate the word "The Dark Knight Rises" so it's all accurate. That's cool & a very nice detail! But anyways, I took this and made it into some BAT-BLOG.COM Promo Art. Yeah, I know, as Robin the Boy Wonder would say, "Holy Shameless Self-Promotion, Batman!" But as a Blogger I have to constantly hype my site or no new people find it, ha! So, if you can, please tell a few of your friends about this website ( Like, on Twitter or Facebook or a Message Board ). Thanks. Oh yeah, also please enjoy this FREE Dark Knight Rises Wallpaper too!!

OK, I have not gone to the book store yet to totally confirm it but the latest issue of ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY Magazine with THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Batman Movie Cover Story is suppose to be out today. If not, then look for it very soon. The cover has an excellent photo of the new bat-suit worn by Christian Bale. There are also a few pics inside that are great. The ones I've seen mainly feature Batman, Bane, and Jim Gordon, with NO Catwoman.
Live from New York, it's... Saturday Night! Actor Steve Buscemi was recently the Host of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! This TV episode of SNL did a really great parody of THE DARK KNIGHT where Steve Buscemi played Jim Gordon and Batman is constantly harassing him, hilarious!!
Well, it looks like Warner Bros finally released a couple of brand-new promo video trailers for the BATMAN: YEAR ONE Animated Movie DVD that's set to come out on October 18th ( which is next Tuesday! ). The 1st one features CATWOMAN in a scene from the special "Feature Short" that is an added feature of the DVD. Then, we get to see a scene from the actual movie that showcases Jim Gordon & it's called, "Car Chase". Enjoy!
Here's the latest Promo Video Clip from Warner Bros for the New BATMAN: YEAR ONE DVD Animated Movie. They call it the "Playboy" Clip because it shows an arrogant-acting Bruce Wayne being questioned by GCPD Police Officer Jim Gordon. I also like how they're presenting Alfred the Butler in this film, very cool.
Here at the BAT-BLOG.COM we're starting to get pretty excited about the new BATMAN: YEAR ONE Animated Film DVD being released next week ( Oct. 18th )! So, to celebrate, we came up with TWO Batman Desktop Backgrounds we made from recent publicity photos. Their focus is on the main 2 characters, The Dark Knight & Jim Gordon. ( I always thought that "Batman Year One" was more of a story about Gordon's rise in the GCPD than actually Batman's origin ). Then, for your viewing pleasure, is the latest MOVIE TRAILER Video Clip... enjoy!
Our friend Michael, also known as ""FilmakerMike"on YouTube, just came out with a fresh Video that is really a "Toy Review" on a few brand-new BATMAN Action Figures he just found.
