OK, This is kinda funny. Batman, the Dark Knight, recently hit the streets of Canada to frighten people, ha!

THE DARK KNIGHT BATMAN and The JOKER Spotted in Las Vegas!!

OK, these pics are both kinda funny and very cool, all at the same time! Our Good friend, Saul, is having a wonderful vacation in Las Vegas right now and he says that no matter where you go they have a BATMAN SLOT MACHINE, everywhere! They are all themed like THE DARK KNIGHT Movie with characters and graphics from the film. They even have a special one for Heath Ledger's version of the Joker called "The Joker's Heist!". There is also a HUGE version at the Bellagio with a giant screen display. Oh man, this is so cool! Thanks Saul for sharing these fun pics and please, try NOT to lose your life savings, ha ha!

Batman's HARVEY DENT IS TWO-FACE - Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday!

OK, I know the next major Film Villians in the next Batman movie, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, is gonna be Bane and Catwoman! But I thought it would be fun to pay tribute to the character known as TWO-FACE (Also, Harvey Dent ). So, here are some wacky Wallpaper Backgrounds you will hopefully enjoy, ha!

The first one is a scene from the recent BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game. This version of the character looked really good & was a great enemy to fight. Next up is an image from an older Graphic Novel. This is from the "DARK VICTORY" comic book storyline. It's got the Joker in there too so that's cool.



Then the last one is my favorite. This is a very detailed photo of the HOT TOYS "Harvey Dent/Two-Face" Figure from their DARK KNIGHT MOVIE Toy Line.

BAT VIDEO - Sammy's BATMAN Dark Knight Mega Cape by Mattel

Shown right here is some photographic proof on Video that Batman's secret identity is actually a cool kid named Sammy! OK, I thought this video posted by a Parent on YouTube was kinda cute. Plus, it showcases what a really awesome toy the "Batman Dark Knight Mega Cape" was that Mattel made a couple of years ago!

Fun Wacky BATMAN News and Artwork!

OK, in my BAT-BLOG Bat-Folders, I have some pics that are kind of random so I thought I'd post them all as one big fun article. Hey, it's neat stuff so don't start cryin', ha ha! The 1st pic is a wonderful piece of Batman Art done by our Friend Troy Lowndes. It uses images of different Actors who have played the Caped Crusader: Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney. It's hilarious!


The next photo has a funny story. Our friend BatDave was told that a certain Video Game Arcade on the Boardwalk in NJ had a Vintage BATMAN MOVIE Pinball Machine. So, he gathered up the "Junior Bat-Squad" ( His Cute Nieces ) and ran over there. When they got there they found out it was the newer "Dark Knight" version. but, they all had fun playing the many different machines. Of course the Batman one was their favorite but they also loved Ironman & Spiderman!



The last 2 photos are just some very recent FAMILY GUY Batman-related T-Shirts that just came out. I love the one with Brian The Dog screaming, "I AM BATMAN!" The next one features the cast of the show as the Retro-1970's Super Friends! You can find these shirts right HERE!

Random BATMAN Humor Photos and Comic Strip

OK, I guess I'm being pretty lazy this morning with this "image dump" post, but I'm soooo tired! But these pics are really great and totally worth checking out so shut-up, ha ha! The 1st one is from "The Dark Knight" movie and the Joker is telling Batman a very mean knock-knock joke, OUCH!



Next up is a hilarious parody t-shirt that a friend of our found online. The shirt uses a special glow-in-the-dark ink, pretty clever.



Oh yeah, I saved the best for last! I say that because I love vintage photos and this one has a very cool history. This photo was from an event held in Northern Italy back in the 1970's. I have no idea what the celebration was for, but all these small children wearing awesome Batman Bat-Suit Costumes is just completely charming & wonderful! Vintage Family Photo - Youssef is BATMAN!

The main thing I love about working on the BAT-BLOG.COM is getting to meet other Batman Fans from all over the world. Here's a wonderful example. This is our friend Youssef as Batman and his Brother is Superman. These homemade costumes are totally great! Plus, I hope I got the information right but Youssef and his brother live in Denmark. So, if that's the case, then that adds an extra layer of coolness to these costumes! Hey, if anyone else has some fun pictures like this then please share them, thanks.

BATMAN ART SHOW - This Saturday at HUB COMICS in MA!

HUB COMICS, in Somerville, Massachusetts, is having their 3rd annual Art Show of Batman-inspired Art to celebrate the Winter Solstice (a dark night). In fact, the show is titled, "DARK KNIGHT ON A DARK NIGHT", funny! The event kicks off this Saturday, December 17th, 2011. Come to the opening reception from 4:00 to 9:00pm and see visions of Batman's world based on his 70-year history by local artists. Sounds like a cool event. For more info, CLICK HERE!

VIDEO - Steve Buscemi on Saturday Night Live as Jim Gordon - THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Movie Parody!

Live from New York, it's... Saturday Night! Actor Steve Buscemi was recently the Host of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! This TV episode of SNL did a really great parody of THE DARK KNIGHT where Steve Buscemi played Jim Gordon and Batman is constantly harassing him, hilarious!!

Bruce's BATMAN Bat-Suit Costume Evolution

Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a little boy named Bruce who, more than anything, wanted to be the Caped Crusader for Halloween. So, one year his Mom had sewn him a wonderful homemade BATMAN Costume. It was not the most totally accurate Bat-Suit, but it worked and the important thing was that it was made out of love. Well, on that night Bruce vowed he would someday have the very very best BATMAN Bat-Suit ever constructed. Now flash forward to the year 2011, here it is! ( Thanks Bruce for sharing these great pics. Also, Please tell your Mom she did well ).

Chris' Awesome BATMAN AND JOKER Movie Memorabilia and Toy Collection

Over at our BAT-BLOG Facebook Page we just met a very serious Batman Collector named Chris who was kind enough to share a few photos of his personal collection. His main focus seems to the THE DARK KNIGHT Movie and more recent Batman stuff. He also really likes the Joker! Hey, who doesn't?! He's got some really great stuff here. My favorite piece is that BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Video Game Store Display Standee with Harley Quinn... Awesome! He also has some cool Movie Posters, Action Figures, Graphic Novels, T-Shirts, and even a JOKER Replica Costume ( Heath Ledger version ) that looks pretty sweeeet! Thanks Chris!!

HOT TOYS BATMAN FIGURE EXHIBIT in Taipei City, Taiwan

Check out these wonderful photos sent-in by our Good Friend Jerry who lives in Taiwan. He recently went to a Toy Collector Exhibit of HOT TOYS Figures in Taipei City. They showcased a ton of different dolls they have made but because we're all about BATMAN, and have limited space, we're gonna focus on the ones of the Dark Knight.

All the Batman-related dolls were set-up individually in special showcases. Then, they they took a few extra dolls ( I mean, Figures! ) where they build extremely detailed dioramas of imagined scenes from THE DARK KNIGHT Movie using Batman ( Christian Bale version ), The Joker ( Heath Ledger ), the Bat-Pod Motorcycle, and the Tumbler Batmobile Car.

They also had the Batman ( Michael Keaton ) and Joker ( Jack Nicholson ) Figures from the 1989 Movie. But they were not included in the dioramas.

Here at the BAT-BLOG we're proud to say that we're Buddies with Group of Crazy People called THE GOTHAM CITY SUPERCARS CLUB. These Guys have some amazing Batmobile Replica Cars! Here's a great example: Check out this amazing BLACK TUMBLER BATMOBILE, just like the one used in THE DARK KNIGHT Movie. The details are very accurate and this thing is like a beautiful piece of ART!! So, I made some BATMAN Wallpapers from the pics sent in, enjoy.

BATMAN FINE ART SCULPTURE by Ceramics Artist Calvin

I recently discovered an Artist's website where he showcases his cool Ceramic Work. His name is Calvin & he lives in the San Francisco area. His artwork is very very impressive! He has his own style of Art where he makes Humanoid Creatures that are very organic, think: Wood, Fire, Water... that kinda thing. They're really great!



But, he also did a series of Superhero Characters and, obviously, my favorite was the Dark Knight himself, BATMAN! Now, in that Superhero Series, he also made an incredible X-Men Comics Wolverine, He-Man The Master of The Universe, Captain America, Amazing Spiderman, and Lion-O ( Thundercats ).
