Check out this fresh new Bat-Tat submitted by a Bat-Blog Fan who recently got some ink done. He said his inspiration for this BATMAN TATTOO ART was the 1966 Batmobile Car designed by George Barris and this is the Classic BAT-LOGO Door Emblem. Yes, That's very very cool!
From NJ BatSquad Studios: Producer/star BatDave and Director Dennis Pellicano unleash yet another future holiday classic. "Batman's Happy St. Batrick's Day Parade" was filmed live on location at the 34th Annual Morris County Parade on March 10th, 2012. Braving the cold weather, a festive crowd of over 50,000 revelers were on hand to witness the first Irish Parade appearance of a 1966 Batmobile in historic Morristown, New Jersey!
In this "Super Power Beat Down" Video we get to see an actual Car Racing video between a 1966 Batman TV Show Batmobile and the 1989 Movie Version... and it answers the question, "Which Batmobile Car Would WIN in a Real Race?".
OK, This is a fun post. For many years now many Comic Book Historians have believed that the very first "Batmobile Car", which appeared in Detective Comics #48 in 1941 ( drawn by Bob Kane ), was based on a Cord. But now, a Writer for the "Cars In Depth" website named Ronnie Schreiber has discovered what he thinks to be the original inspiration, a 1938 Graham Paige “Sharknose”! Now, I don't know much about Old Cars, but Ronnie's argument seems pretty valid. For more details be sure to read his article by clicking HERE!
OK, This is pretty funny! A Friend of the Bat-Blog, Bobby, recently came across a fun BATMAN Car while shopping at a Wal-Mart in Lynchburg, Virginia. He just had to get this fun photo! Oh yeah, there it was, right there in the parking lot!! The car isn't totally customized or anything, It's just black with a HUGE Bat-Symbol Logo on the hood. But, still pretty cool. Thanks Bobby!
This post is a shout-out to a Friend of ours who has been doing an excellent job on a new Batman Toy Collector Blog called "Batman Extreme"! Now, he's a Major Batman Fan and he shares a bunch of cool stuff! At the end of this post I'll share a LINK to it but I gotta warn ya, his site is mostly done in Japanese! But wait, there is plenty of eye-candy to enjoy plus, he does some posts in English. Also, it's really not that hard to figure out how to navigate the site.
One tip, at the bottom of all his posts there is a "Pagination Area" where you click the numbers "2, 3, 4, etc..." Just click those and you can enjoy the whole site. There is some neat stuff like Tin Toys ( Robots and Batmobile cars ). Plus, a lot of new merchandise. It looks like he might focus on "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" Movie Action Figures a little bit too. It's fun, just click HERE!
OK, I'm Officially Super-Jealous! My Friend's Cousin, Asajj, got to meet George Barris ( The Creator of the Original 1966 Batmobile used on the BATMAN TV Show & Movie ) at the Boise Roadster Show that was recently held in Idaho. She is shown here with her Grandson. Yes, I'm still jealous!!

OK, These photos are total torture for me! I mean, I already know I will not be able to afford to buy this brand-new HOT TOYS '89 BATMOBILE Toy and I'm already crying myself to sleep over it, ha! This is the HUGE vehicle being made for the large "Michael Keaton BATMAN" Hot Toys Figure. It's gonna be real expensive ( Like hundreds of dollars ) but completely worth every penny as it's a beautiful, and extremely detailed, replica of the Batmobile Car from the 1989 BATMAN Movie.
It has Rubber Tires with Detailed Tread, a Cockpit that slides open, an Instrument Panel inside that's very detailed, Machine Gun Turrets that pop-out of the hood, a Special Base to display it on, etc... it even comes with a "Cocoon Shield" to cover it. OK, I'm just gonna cry for about an hour or two. I know you are so much braver than I am so please be sure to check out all the wonderful photos.

Our Buddy Batmobilly sent us some wonderful pics of two brand-new Fisher-Price Toys to keep an eye out for later in the year. The 1st one is a "DC Super Friends Batmobile Light". Basically, it's a large toy car and when you pop-open the front hood it reveals a hidden flashlight inside. It's funny, I was recently at Target and saw that they already came out with some of these of generic vehicles ( like Police car and Fire Truck ) and thought, "Hey, they need to make a Batmobile", ha! Next up is another version of their "Little People DC Super Friends" Batmobile. This is made for the play sets. It's so gosh darn cute, goo goo!
Then, we have a "BAT-SIGNAL" BOOK by Running Press. This company is also gonna have a "Batmobile Book" that we featured here at the BAT-BLOG.COM before. They are very small little Gift Books sold in a Display Box with a special little toy/figure inside. You can usually find these in a Bookstore around the cash register area. So, look for these later and if you see any new Bat-Products in retail shops then please let us know.
OK, This post is filled with funny BATMAN pictures that are meant to brighten your day with a little humor. We hope it works, ha ha! The 1st picture showing Curley ( The Three Stooges ) as BANE was done by our friend Sean Hartter. The others sort of explain themselves. As a side-note: I really really want that Batmobile Car Bed! Also, that last photo is NOT me, I swear, ha!
An Artist Friend of ours named Randy S. Silvia sent us some freakin' awesome graphics he created the other day that were inspired by some of his favorite BATMAN stuff: The 1966 Batmobile Car & a Retro-Style Catwoman, MEOW! He said I could use them as WALLPAPER BACKGROUNDS so I made them into BAT-BLOG.COM Promo Pieces. Yes, as a Blogger you ALWAYS have to hype your page with crazy propaganda. So, if everybody could please help me out - Please spread the news about the Bat-Blog on your Twitter or Facebook page, Thanks!!

Each figure is cast in solid resin, completely hand-painted and detailed ( Click on the above graphic for a large photo ).
Here are 2 cool photos sent in by our new friend Javier. He recently spotted the 1966 Batmobile at the UDLA Puebla in Mexico. This Batmobile car looks great, or as they say in Spanish, "Batmovil". ( Thanks for sharing these fun pics Javier ).
