OK, here where I live it's raining and sort of gloomy so I thought it would be a good idea to maybe help brighten someone's day. here are some hilarious pictures & photos sent in to us by our AWESOME Readership! Yes, people submit great stuff and if the BAT-BLOG.COM is any good at all then it's because of them, Thanks Everybody!! Oh yeah, just to be clear, we got that photo of Adam West, from Adam West! ( Thank You, Sir!! You're still a Good Citizen! ). Whoops, One last thing, that picture of Batgirl & the 3 Robins climbing the wall, that's a GREAT parody of the movie poster for "Adventures in Babysitting", Ha Ha!
POW! ZAP! Check out this awesome ADAM WEST BATMAN TATTOO inked by "Bleedink Ink" in Grove City, Ohio. This photo was submitted by our Friend Frank who just got this artwork done showing the Dark Knight ( 1966 Batman TV Show ) doing The Batusi Dance! It's a great image, nice coloring, and also has a sense of humor. Nice choice Frank, do the Batusi!
OK, in my BAT-BLOG Bat-Folders, I have some pics that are kind of random so I thought I'd post them all as one big fun article. Hey, it's neat stuff so don't start cryin', ha ha! The 1st pic is a wonderful piece of Batman Art done by our Friend Troy Lowndes. It uses images of different Actors who have played the Caped Crusader: Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney. It's hilarious!
The next photo has a funny story. Our friend BatDave was told that a certain Video Game Arcade on the Boardwalk in NJ had a Vintage BATMAN MOVIE Pinball Machine. So, he gathered up the "Junior Bat-Squad" ( His Cute Nieces ) and ran over there. When they got there they found out it was the newer "Dark Knight" version. but, they all had fun playing the many different machines. Of course the Batman one was their favorite but they also loved Ironman & Spiderman!
The last 2 photos are just some very recent FAMILY GUY Batman-related T-Shirts that just came out. I love the one with Brian The Dog screaming, "I AM BATMAN!" The next one features the cast of the show as the Retro-1970's Super Friends! You can find these shirts right HERE!
Greetings Good Citizens. You might remember the BAT-BLOG hyping the Event of the Century, AN EVENING WITH ADAM WEST! Well, it happened a few days ago & the show totally sold-out. Yes, it was a complete success! But, if you're like me and couldn't go because it was so far away, the good news is you can hear the interview as an Online Podcast! I checked it out last night & it's extremely entertaining. They went through Adam West's very long career and it was a lot of fun. Not as great as actually being there, but really, it's cool! Plus, I don't want to spoil anything but within the interview Mr. West shared some extremely important news that every Bat-Fan is gonna love! It totally blew me away!
Here's a LINK ( Click Here ) to listen to the Podcast. You can listen for free online or you can download it from iTunes for a small donation of $2.00 or more. The donations, like the money raised from the event, all go towards helping to pay for Adam West's Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

OK, I know what you're thinking. These YouTube Videos done with Lego Toys are usually so very very lame, but wait! This one, that's a parody of the animated introduction to the 1966 BATMAN TV Show is GREAT! The animation is wonderful! It's perfect! Go ahead, give it a try, ha! ( Thanks Dave )

Over at the GAMESRADAR Video Game News Website they did a totally hilarious mash-up of BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY with the 1960's BATMAN TV Show with Adam West, ha ha! It's a really great parody, please enjoy.
Here are some really great photos of a few BATMAN COSTUME Cosplayers at a Comic Book Convention in Philadelphia. This event took place a few months ago and I'm just now posting them! Sorry, they got lost in my crazy PC Folder System. But hey, they're still fun to see now and the Bat-Suits are AWESOME!
First up is a terrific Tribute to Adam West's 1967 BATMAN Movie, "Some Days You Just Can't Get Rid of a Bomb!". I totally love this, it must have been great fun seeing him run around the Convention Center trying to find a safe place to dispose of this, ha!
Next, is a photo taken just outside of the World's Finest Team, Superman & Batman! Then, we have a great pic of Robin with a more Modern-Day Batman. All of these costumes are completely AWESOME!! ( Thanks to our Buddy BatDave for sharing these ).
OK, I like BATMAN and I love FINE ART so when Artists combine them I'm always in awe. Here are three "Batman-Inspired" photos to share. The 1st one is a High Couture Dress made in Japan. It's so freakin' AWESOME that even I would wear it! As a side note: I have never ever worn ladies things before, ever, I swear! Next up is a fun parody photo showing the Surrealist Artist Salvador Dali dressed as Adam West's Batman ( He would have made a totally great Villain on that TV Show, ha! ). Last, but not least, is this very interesting BATMAN Poster I came across on the web awhile back that has a great "vintage look" about it. It's very well done in a cool Bauhaus-Style, or is it Russian Constructivism? I always get those two confused.
A Friend on Facebook yesterday shared this amazing piece of BATMAN Art he did recently & I thought it was decent enough to share ( Ha Ha, just kidding, it's great! ). Actually it's an extremely well done Tribute to ADAM WEST from the 1960's Batman TV Series. This Digital Art was drawn on a Wacom Tablet by our buddy Kevin Stark. The rendering of West's face is dead-on perfect! I like the coloring/shading, the use of the fine black outline, & even that wacky yellow-paisley wallpaper background... GROOVY! Thanks Kevin for sharing your fun artwork.
Check out these amazing replicas of a few props from the 1960's BATMAN TV Show and Movie! Our Buddy "BatDave" is holding the BATZOOKA! It was originally seen in the 1966 Batman movie as a Batcharge Launcher, in the scene where Robin, The Boy Wonder, used it to fire at The Penguin Submarine!
Then, we have the BAT-SHIELD, held up by our Friend Louie! This "Weapon" appeared mainly on the Adam West and Burt Ward BATMAN TV Series. It protected Batman and Robin from harm caused by Villains!!
Both of these were made by Louie and you can see the love that went into them because they have such great detail! ( Thanks to BatDave for sharing this fun photo ).
Over at Facebook our Good Bat-Friend Cesar shared some totally hilarious mash-up parody photos that I knew I had to share here at the BAT-BLOG.COM. They all includes images from THE DARK KNIGHT Movie and 1966 BATMAN TV Show all mixed together in a funny way, ha ha! Well, OK, the one with Jack Nicholson's JOKER is a character from the 1989 BATMAN Movie, but you get the idea! ( Thanks Cesar )
Last night we got this awesome ADAM WEST BATMAN TRIBUTE WALLPAPER that was made by our friend, Graphic Artist Andy Fish. The artwork is very cool & has a 1960's POP ART feel about it. Which, is totally appropriate because it's meant to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of The 1966 BATMAN TV Series. Wow, 45 years! Man, I really feel old now, ha! I was 2 years old when this TV Show appeared & right from the beginning I was completely hooked, I loved it! Watching it now, as an Adult, I gotta admit that's it's kinda cheesy. But when I was very very little, and Batman or Robin were held in some Crazy Death Trap... I was extremely concerned for their lives, ha! I wanna thank Andy for making this '66 BATMAN WALLPAPER for the Bat-Blog. He did a great job on it & I wanna say that people should check out his other art too. His website is pretty cool & does feature other Batman items, just click HERE!
Check out this extremely cool pic sent in by our new Best Friend, Maria! She recently attended a TATTOO ART CONVENTION when, all of a sudden, she spotted this freakin' sweet ADAM WEST 1966 BATMAN Tattoo! She's a huge fan of the 60's series & just had to get a pic. Thanks Maria for sharing this photo, it's great stuff! As always, we want to invite other BAT-BLOG.COM Readers to do the same... SEND YOUR PIX TODAY!
For this week's "Wacky Wallpaper Wednesday" the Bat-Blog thought it would celebrate two crazy-fun periods of Batman History, the Golden Age ( 1940's ) and the 1960's TV Show. Enjoy.
I thought that our friends on the east coast could use a little humor after what they have been getting from Hurricane Irene. I know things are still messed-up but we want you all to know that we're thinking about you & hope things are starting to get better. I'd also like to ask my readers to please DONATE to the AMERICAN RED CROSS. They do great work & every single dollar helps, Thanks.
The JUNIOR BATSQUAD is a group of Kids living in New Jersey who are all total Batman Fans, they're AWESOME! Well, these photos are from a recent field trip where they got to visit a Super BATMAN Toy Collector who has a ton of cool collectibles. While there they goofed around & took these fun pics for the Bat-Blog.
In the 1st one they holding up an extremely RARE Autographed Framed Photo of Lewis Wilson as BATMAN, from the 1943 Serial Movies. I guess you could say he was the very 1st Batman Actor! Sadly, he died in 2000 at the golden age of 80. It's an extremely cool photo.
Next, the Kids are playing with a 1967 BATMAN Movie Prop. Actually, it's a Replica of the BOMB made famous by Adam West. I love the pose of the Boy holding it, just like West in the film, hilarious!!
